Welcome To Blast From The Past! It’s the year 1996 and Harry Potter has just received a vision of his dear Godfather being tortured in the Department of Mysteries. In an instant he, Hermione Granger, Ron Weasley, Neville Longbottom, Ginny Weasley, and Luna Lovegood are on a rescue mission, set to infiltrate the Department and save Sirius Black. In the midst of searching they run into a Slytherin obstruction. It seems that Draco Malfoy, Blaise Zabini, and Pansy Parkinson have followed them to the Ministry in attempts to stop them. As the battle between dark and light commences, the large group stumbles into one of the many rooms in the Department of Mysteries. All of a sudden they are transported back in time - to the year 1976.
Before even signing up, please keep in mind that this is a moderate to advanced roleplay that contains mature content such as; coarse language, death, and sexual themes. This site is NOT for younger Rpers.
Creating An Account;
You are allowed three accounts per Rper. Please do not create your account unless you can get an application up within the week. We do not want people creating accounts, then changing their minds and forgetting about them. Sign up your account using your characters name ONLY. No nicknames or numbers.
Creating A Character;
There is only one character per account. To balance the gender and house ratios; we ask that you alternate your characters. For example: If you create a female Gryffindor as your first account, your second account CANNOT be female or a Gryffindor. Make sure your character acts their age. First year students should not be able to produce advanced spells. No vampires, werewolves, or half-breed characters besides the original canons are allowed. Celeb Claims are a first come, first serve basis. Code word Filch Please don’t bring characters from other magical shows or universes. This is Harry Potter or originals only thanks. Professors don't have to be canon. Be creative, have fun with those charries.
Activity;
If you plan on joining this site, you are committing to check your posts every once and a while. We do not ask that you spend an hour a day on here, we just don't want people submitting their applications and then disappearing for a month. If you fail to respond for a period of 1 month your account is eligible to be deleted by staff unannounced.

Roleplaying;
No God-moding. In other words, don't write about actions another character does. Let the rper make their own choices and actions. If someone doesn't reply to your rp straight away, don't post for them. Keep spelling as accurate and grammar as neat as you can If a duel commences, please be realistic. you're character can't always dodge a spell, and can't use complex or deathly curses. Keep the angst to a minimum. You don't have to post an angsty thread every day. Unforgivable Curses are only allowed for canons that are Death Eaters. No use of ligilimency, and only animagus powers can be granted to seventh years, with the exception of the Marauders. Powerful spells and actions cannot realistically be casted by young students. No deaths or student pregnancies, unless you message me with a good reason.
